Public warning - Fraudulent Door-to-Door Solicitor Claims

Dear residents of Campden ward,

We have been made aware of a concerning incident involving a male individual knocking on doors in the vicinity of Peel Street, W8, engaging residents in conversation under false pretenses.

One resident was led to believe the individual was offering home-related legal support. 

Please be cautious of any unsolicited visits or offers involving legal services, especially if they pressure you into signing documents or providing personal information. 

Being or knowing someone that’s been a victim of Fraud can be upsetting. We consider Fraud to be a serious crime and will put the time in to tackle it however we can. In the meantime, there are ways to keep yourself safe.
